The 50th Annual Carifta Games got underway in the Bahamas, with Bermuda winning one Medal on the opening day.

Sealey clocked a time of 4:06.34 winning the Silver medal competing in
the Under 20 Men's 1500m, Kallan Richardson finished 10th clocking
4:20.78.
Elise Dickinson competing in the Under 17 Girls 400m Final finished 5th clocking 56.85. Jaeda
Grant finished 4th competing in the Under 17 Girls 1500m clocking
4:56.54, while Fenella Wightman finished 7th clocking 5:12.95.

Rogers finished 4th in the Under 17 Men's 1500m when he was clocked
across the line in a time of 4:15.16, Jake Smith was 9th clocking
4:22.06.In the Under 17 Girls 100m Semi-Finals, Arima Turner
finished 14th clocking a time of 12.45, while Pria Wilson finished 15th
clocking 12.53.
Miles Outerbridge just missed out on a spot in
the Under 17 Boys 100m Final when he finished 9th in the Semi-Finals
clocking 11.20.
Competing in the Under 20 Girls 100m Semi-Finals, Zenji Washington finished 15th overall clocking a time of 12.47.
Razi Garland finished 6th competing in the Under 20 Men's Javelin with a top toss of 44.62.
Both Turner and Wilson advanced to the Semi-Finals with finishes of 12.45, and 12.65. In
the Under 17 Boys 100m Preliminaries, Outerbridge advanced to the
Se-Finals with a time of 11.14 which saw him finish 9th overall, Kyah
Richardson was 17th overall clocking a time of 11.73.
Washington
advanced to the Under 20 Girls 100m Semi-Finals with the 15th fastest
time of 12.51.
Denver Tucker finished 17th competing in the Under 20
Boys 100m.
Shayla Cann clocked a time of 58.01 finishing 13th in the Under 20 Girls 400m Semi-Finals.
Garland would finish 8th competing in the Under 20 Discus Throw with atop toss of 30.12m.
With a top toss of 28.83m Kesay Bell finished 15th competing in the Under 20 Girls Discus Throw.
