Dage Minors and Gayle Lindsay are the 2023 Bermuda Healthcare "Sir" Stanley Burgess 5K Male and Female Champions.
Fans and spectators were able to see a fantastic finish with Minors winning by only 3 seconds, clocking a time of 15:10, Lamont Marshall was second in 15:13, and Sean Trott was third in 16:19.
Lindsay was the 10th runner to cross the, she was clocked at 18:44, Bella Wright was the second female finisher she crossed the line 12t clocking 19:11, and the third female finisher was Maria Kemiji-Mcdonald who was 15th overall with a time of 19:28.
Minors is looking to add to his performance from last year when he competes in the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix.
In 2022, Minors thanked the fans for helping inspire him to a superb podium finish in the Men's 1,500 meters Final.
