More than 8,100 athletes took part
in today's 2024 Boston 10K presented by Brigham and Women's Hospital
persevering through intermittent downpours to reach the finish at Boston
Common. Sabastian Sawe (Kenya) and Melknat Wudu (Ethiopia) each won
their first B.A.A. event, breaking the tape at 27:42 and 31:15,
respectively.
Lamont Marshall had a good follow-up race to his
Bermuda Day Half Marathon victory running a solid 31:39, which is 5:06 a
mile pace, finishing 31st overall.
