Two National Junior Indoor
Records have been broken as five Bermuda Athletes compete at the VA Showcase
2024 in the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Ellise Dickinson representing
Montverde Academy competed in the 4x200m Relay running the third leg they
clocked 1:39.03.
Dickinson would lead
off the school's 4x400m Relay team which clocked a winning time of 3:50.36.
Arima Turner representing
Montverde Academy finished 22nd competing in the Girls 55m Dash
clocking a Personal Best time of 7.29, Turner would then finish 11th
in the Girls 200m Dash clocking a Personal Best time of 25.38.
Turner would meet
the Carfita Standard during the Girls 4x200m Relay helping Montverde Academy finish
3rd she clocked a split time of 24.95.
Zenji Washington
would finish 63rd competing in the Girl's 55m Dash clocking a
Personal Best time of 7.64.
Miles Outerbridge representing
Montverde Academy broke the Junior Indoor Boy's 55m Dash Record when he
finished 54th clocking a time of 6.74. Outerbridge would also run a Personal Best
time finishing 15th in the Boy's 200m Dash clocking 22.66.
Denver Tucker representing
IMG Academy would also break the Junior Indoor Boy's 55m Dash Record when he
finished 23rd clocking a time of 6.57, Tucker clocked a Personal Best time of
35.71 on his way to finishing 24th in the Boy's 300m Dash.
During the Boy's
4x200m Relay Tucker helped IMG Academy finish third clocking a time of 1:26.28.
