Caitlyn Bobb Wins ECAC National Championship Title


Caitlyn Bobb, represented the UMBC Women's Track and Field Program at George Mason Stadium for the ECAC Championship.

UMBC concluded the championships in 15th place with 25 points, ranking them among the top 40 percent of competitors.

 

Competing in the Women 400 Meter Dash, Bobb was crowned the ECAC National Champion clocking a winning time of 53.44.

 

During the 2022 Outdoor season, Bobb had a record-setting season for UMBC.

 

Bobb earned the Most Outstanding Female Track Performer, Most Outstanding Female Rookie, and the Coaches' Award at the America East Championships after winning the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m Relay.

 

Bobb earned a spot in the NCAA Preliminaries, she made it all the way to the Semi-Finals of the 400m at the NCAA Championships, finishing 17th in a career and school record-breaking time of 51.84.

 

Bobb also, set the school record in the 200m with a time of 23.44 at the America East Championships.
