
Bermuda Paralympian
Jessica Lewis competed in the Cruisers Classic and Para Athletics Clinic at the
Toronto Track and Field Center in Canada.
Competing in the
Women's 100m WC race Round 1, Lewis clocked a winning time of 18.29, and then
in Round 2, Lewis clocked a winning time of 19.22.
Clocking a time of
33.17 saw Lewis win the Women's 200m WC, Lewis also won the Women's 400m WC
clocking 1:01.52.
Lewis qualified for
the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's 100m T53.
She has competed in
three Parapan American Games in which she won four medals and two
Paralympic Games where she was the first ever Paralympic athlete from Bermuda
to compete in the Games when she made her debut appearance in the 2012 Summer
Paralympics.
Lewis competed at
the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha, winning the Bronze Medal in
the T53 100m.
